When I changed my style over to APA 7th it started adding an extra space in my references. Note the attachments.

APA6th would produce the following format:

In EndNote you can go to Edit > Output Styles > Open Style Manager > locate the style you are using > Click Edit > go to Layout under Bibliography > here remove the paragraph mark in the box End each reference with: > go To File > Save As > (EndNote will not allow you to change the existing style in EndNote but will always apply the change to a copy of the style) Click Save to save the changes to a copy of the style > close the style window.
You would need to use the copy of APA 7th in your document.
