PsycINFO CSA connection

I’m getting the following error message when searching from Endnote X3:

Error searching for records.

Message from remote server:

psycinfo-set-c

The database appears to be unavailable. Verify the Database Name in the connection file.

Server has closed the connection. Try issuing the search again.

I have added my university’s username and password to the connection file.  I’m also using the most recent CSA PsycINFO connection file downloaded from the Endnote website.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,

That message almost always means your password isn’t valid for the database called psycinfo-set-c.  Contact EBSCO to have your password added, or reset if it has expired for whatever reason.
