I used to be able to import references from publisher/journal websites.
I’d go to ‘export citation’; download the file; in Ref Man I’d go to file/ import text file. A dialogue box would open. I’d make sure the correct text file is selected and then click on import.
In this way I could import multiple references.
Now if I try this Ref Man just stops. Nothing happens. The programme hangs for as long as I choose to leave it. When I click on ‘close’ the dialogue box shuts and then the Ref Man windon goes faint - it ‘greys’ out. I then have to crash out of the programme. I get the error message “Reference Manager Version 12.0.3 (Bld 3262 has stopped working”.

Please advise me how to fix this. I put this question to Adept Scientific and they said import refs manually - this seems to defeat one of the purposes of using Ref Manager.
