I learned that a group in a library shared by a user with Endnote X9 cannot be accessed by collaborators with older versions like X8 and below. In other words, the new feature of sharing multiple different groups in the same library cannot be enjoyed unless all the users who share and are shared have the same X9.
I think this really demerits the new feature included in X9 since it is rare to have all the users have the latest version. I’d like to suggest that the developers need to have the users being shared with an older version access a group in a single library by another user. Please have the users with a version older than X9 access the groups shared with X9.
