Is there any difference between the “student version” and the “academic version”. If the academic version offers additional functionalities, I would prefer it over the student version. Thank you

Absolutely no difference.
The only difference that the student version has is you need to be a student to purchase it- if you are not a student, but in an academic environment, don’t get the student version… The functionality is the same. Thanks! Colin
