Template Problem

Hi,

I’m trying to fix a template but I can’t get it. What I want as result is for example:

Smith, Adam (2008): The Culture of Economics, 9. Auflage, New York: Palgrave

Auflage means volume in German and I want to have that text inside the bibliography. So I used the following template for books:

Author (Year): Title,| Volume. Auflage,| City: Publisher

But for books which have no volume, the word “Auflage” also appears and I don’t get that fixed. So hope you can help.

Hi Nick

Instead of a space between Volume and Auflage, try using Link Adjacent Text from the Insert Field drop-down button.

isnt “Edition” the field of choice for “Auflage” for Books?

“Volume” should be used for  “Band”.
