Hi, I have just installed X5 and the author tab pane in the library is showing first and last names which is very messy and confusing to read. Does anyone know how to turn this option off? I can’t see an answer on the forums. Thanks,
You can change it via the “Preferences” setting. Go to the toolbar, select EDIT, PREFERENCES, then in the Preferences dialog box click to select “Display Fields”. At the bottom of te screen uncheck the box labeled “Display all authors in the Author field.” Click OK to close the window.
In Endnote, Edit>preferences Library display > there is a tick box at the bottom. de-tick it and you will now only see the first author’s surname in the library display.
