I think this is a bug, but EndNote replies that it’s not, bu tmy customers are always distracted and annoyed by this.
If you drag an item to a groups from unfiled the focus moves to a seamingly random other reference. With your usual preferences you cannot understand why.
Because i always show record numbers in my display fields i can see that, when i click the first reference (in any sorting order) it jumps to the first record number, if i click the second, it jumps to the second.
i find this highly annoying, and i teach my customers to only drag items when you sorted your references by record number. doesn’t anyone else have this problem?
