Can you append a label or term to multiple references at once?

Hi:

I’m using EndNote X9 and I wanted to add a label or term to multiple references at the same time. I can’t see an obvious way to do that. In the case of labels, my labels are currently blank, so I can’t do an Edit > Find and Replace… on them.
