Cannot create library, EndNote x9.3.2, Catalina.

When trying to create a new library, and save it to ‘Applications’ on the mac, I get the error “failed to create library:” I have tried to close Word and EndNote, but without success.

It is trying to save it to a read only location?

Thanks for the tip, that was the problem. I was unable to change the status of the applications folder. However, I could save the library to the home area without any problems.
