Changing footnotes to Harvard style in large document

I’ve been using a footnote style (in MS Word) with an in-text number for a large document I’m working on. I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the entire document to the Harvard style so that the in text footnote numbers are replaced throughout by Harvard style in-text citations?

I’m using Endnote X2 and WORD X for Mac.

I can make it work by replacing each footnote number in turn with the new style, but there are an awful lot of footnotes!

While I believe someone has written a macroto convert from in-text to footnotes, I don’t know of a way to make the opposite conversion.
