Hi,

I am trying to use ENdnote for the first time and over all I have managed to figure things. One questions, I have been working on without much success is in citing a reference at the beginning of a sentence and how to obtain the format I want for that.

What I wish to have: Baker (1974) hypothesized …

What happens with the existing style setting: (Baker 1974) hypothesized…

Can anyone out there guide me how to fix this?

The easiest way is to type the author name or author et al part and then insert the citation, and right click in the formatted citation and tick the remove author box.
