create a new library by extracting some groups from an existing library

Hi

I want to copy some of the groups in my exisiting library as a new library.

I’d like to use it at my laptop.

Would someone please suggest me the procedures?

Hi!

Make a group set with the groups you want to export and make into a new library.

File → Compressed Library → Click on “All References in a Group/Group Set:” and choose the name of the Group Set that you made for this purpose → Next → Store file (use another name than the original library)

You can now open the stored compressed library with File → Open. The compressed library will be unpacked and you will have a new library with only the content of the groups in the group set.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your kind help. It’s very helpful.

However, I follow all the steps you mentioned and find an error message (please see attached jpg)

I am sure that my disk is not full, write-protected or damanged.

I’ve tried many groups in group set and all have the same error messages.

Do you have any further suggestions?
