Custom "Abbreviated Author List" for APA 7th. ed.

Hello,

APA 7th ed. requires to abbreviate the list when an article has 21 authors and more. Currently (last version of EndNote: X9.3.1, build 13758), there is an option to customize the “Abbreviated Author List” under “Author Lists”. However, it does not allow to “add the last author’s name” to the list, like the last “pre-customized” option (“If eight or more authors, list the first 6 authors…”). It would be great if it could be implemented in future versions of EndNote.

Have you tried the last option;
“If eight or more authors, list the first 6 authors, insert [,…] and add the last author’s name”.
Think this option is made for APA 6th / APA 7th.

But we need to list 19 authors (not 6), and then […] and the last author.
