EndNote Desktop vs. EndNote Web

I am relative new to EndNote and have been reviewing all of the documentation and training videos that I can find.

However, there is one question (for now) that I cannot answer - If I cannot share references with other individuals using EndNote Web (and it appears that I cannot do so) why would I want to use EndNote Web instead of EndNote Desktop?

By the way - I do not mean this to be sarcastic in any way. I am responsible for training in EndNote within an organization and want to be sure that I have a valid answer for this question if it is posed.

It is very easy to share groups of references with other EndNote Web users. This is clearly described in the Help system. When references are shared, it is clearly indicated in the interface - see the attached EndNote Web screen shot.

I hope this helps.
