EndNote Error ID= -600

I am working with Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 and Endnote X6. Previously things have gone along well with no problems. Recently, however, any time I try to use Cite While You Write from Word the following error message pops up “An Error Occured ID: -600.” Any time I try to insert selected citation from EndNote it just says “an unknown error occurred”

I would appreciate any help you can come up with. I’ve searched for this error code and can’t find anything. I would prefer not to uninstall EndNote.

did anyone at Thomson bother to answer this question?  I am in the middle of 3 grants and I keep getting this error “An error occurred. ID = -1701”  If there is still anyone working at Thomson for endnote - can you please provide an answer to what this error is, how do you fix it??
