I have EndNote setup to create hyperlinks between in-text citations and references. EndNote and Word (X4 and Word 2010 for PC) get along just fine in this regard, until it goes to my publisher. There the hyperlinks are stripped off, resulting in a flat text file. However, they told me that their layout process (Adobe InDesign based) does not pick up hyperlinks unless they are defined with the Hyperlink character style within Word. This is somewhat tedious to do, citation by citation.
Might anyone have run into something like this and thought of a way to define a character style for citations?
