Endnote X3 Mac compatibiity with NeoOffice or OpenOffice

Why isn’t Endnote X3 tools incorporated into NeoOffice or OpenOffice for Mac as it is for PC versions of OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, Pages (for Mac)?

Can this be corrected, and if so, when?
