Endnote x7 does not sort by appearance.

Hello,

my current problem is that EndnoteX7 does not sort my citations by appearance correctly. I have checked and my bibliography is setted to sort by appearance.

I am using word 2016 with EndnoteX7 and the Citation style “applied chemistry”.

Is that Pure and Applied Chemistry or Journal of Applied Chemistry in full?  I don’t see an output style in the endnote collection called “applied chemistry”.

Pure and Applied is the one available.  It is attached. you need to ensure the output style is selected in the manuscript in the word processor – on the Endnote ribbon or in its bibliography menu, not in the Endnote program.
