Hi, I’m using Endnote X5 with Word 2011 on Mac OSX. Currently endnote is citing my work in-text with parenthetical citations but I want to use the common Chicago end-notes style with super scripts. Does anyone know how I can switch to the different in-text format in a quick and painless manner?
If you asking whether endnote can convert in text citations first to footnotes and then move the citation into the footnote, no, but if you search these Endnote forums for footnote conversion, you will find a number of threads, including this one, with a messagefrom Thomson’sTechnical Sup Rep RS, Jason Berman saying that they have some tools that can help do the conversion.
