like mendeley, drag a pdf file onto endnote and endnote would analyse the content of the pdf file and based on that extract the metadata to automatically create a new reference into the endnote library.
also, if the pdf autoextract feature would exist, again, like mendeley, be able to Watch Folders i.e. Endnote regularly scans a specified set of folders and whenever i add a pdf to the folder it will automatically create a reference for me in endnote
