Hi; I don’t know if this is possible in current versions of EndNote, but so far I haven’t found anything to suggest that it is.
Is there any way to search for all subsequent articles citing a given EndNote library reference, e.g., using Web of Science tools? For example, let’s say I come across an interesting reference from 5-10 years ago. I would like to search for subsequent articles citing that reference in order to find out if further work has been published on that topic.
Given the ability of other Thomsen Reuters Web of Science databases to retrieve such information, e.g., from what used to be called Science Citation Index, I wonder it it would be possible to query these databases for a given reference from within EndNote. Such a feature would be extremely useful to me.
Thanks for your assistance with this question/suggestion,
