From Mendelay to RefManager

I’ve just begun using RefManager instead of Mendelay, and want to import my data from Mendelay. Anyone who knows how to du that?

You can export your records from Mendeley in the RIS format and then import into Reference Manager:

In Mendeley:

  1. Select the records you wish to export. You can click Edit > Select All if you want your entire database.
  2. Click on the File menu > Export
  3. Change Save As Type option to “RIS - Research Information Systems (*.ris).”
  4. Pick a name and location for the file and Save.

In Reference Manager:

  1. Open your existing database in Reference Manager or create a new one from the File menu.
  2. Click on the File menu > Import Text file.
  3. For the Filter, select RIS.cap
  4. For the text file, select the RIS text file you saved from Mendeley.
  5. Click Import
