I asked technical support how to solve a problem. Our database is very very slow opening, when the options are read/write share. We have a network version of Reference Manager 12.
Here is the answer from technical support:
After the database is opened click on the column heading for one of the fields being displayed in the list of references to sort the database on the field. Then the database should respond faster. You may want to contact Sales and see if they can provide you with Reference Manager 11, as these problems seem isolated to Reference Manager 12.
I am really surprised. What is this? Have any of you downgraded?
And is this a serious solution to the problems in version 12?
We upgraded to be sure, that the connection between Word 2007 and Reference Manager was the best possible.
