I am facing challenges with Syncing EndNote Libraries Across Multiple Devices

Hello there,

I have been using EndNote for a few years now; and it is been an invaluable tool for managing my references and citations. Recently; I have encountered some issues with syncing my EndNote libraries across multiple devices; and I am hoping to get some advice or solutions from the community.

I primarily use EndNote on my Windows desktop at work; but I also have it installed on my MacBook at home and on an iPad for when I am on the go. The issue I am facing is that the libraries do not always seem to sync properly between these devices.

Sometimes; changes made on one device do not appear on the others; or worse; they result in duplicate entries or conflicts that are difficult to resolve.

I have tried following the instructions provided in the EndNote support documentation; including ensuring that I am logged into the same EndNote account on all devices; checking my internet connection; and regularly syncing my libraries.

I am particularly concerned about the potential for data loss or corruption if this issue continues. I would appreciate any tips on how to maintain consistent syncing across devices; especially between different operating systems like Windows and macOS.

Are there any best practices that I should follow; or is there a known issue with syncing across multiple platforms that I might be encountering?

Also; I have gone through this post; https://community.endnote.com/t/sync-does-not-sync-record-numbers-mlops/ which definitely helped me out a lot.

Thank you in advance for your help and assistance.
