Not sure what you are looking for. not many publishers have a reference description for those reference types. You can create one from one of the unnamed or unused reference types by going to the preferences options, but it will be computer specific unless you download and upload the ref type table to other computers. .
Okay Thank you. I created one of the three unused reference types in Preferences. I named it “presentations” to use it for any record that contains slides only. But how you make it effective, that is to be shown in the list of references types, is it by clicking “apply” and then “ok” only? However, this whole issue is not very important.
That should work. but if you want the ref type to be reflected in an output style, in a specific way, you will also need to create a template for the new reference type. It should appear, using the “generic” template, but that is not usually adequate. I suspect you aren’t going to “cite” the presentation though? in which case you don’t need to modify output styles.
