I found out how to add Endnote to the Ribbon in Word 2013.
1-install Endnote X7
2-open word 2013 and go to “File” and then click “Options”
3-in the left pannel select “Add- Ins”
4-in the bottom you can see “Manage” be sure it is set on “COM Add- Ins” and click “Go”
5-a new window will open and you should see “Cite While You Write”. just select it and you can easilly see that EndNot X7 has been added to the Ribbon or Word 2013

I have just installed Office 2013 onto my computer, but my Endnote X6 does not appear in Word - so I can’t cite while I write. I’ve tried following instructions I found previously in this post, but can’t find the WINWARD.EXE command in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office15. Help! Thanks…
Have you tried reinstalling Endnote (with any Office programs closed)? – Endnote needs to be installed after a program update as the folders needed to install into - aren’t there yet, before the Office programs are installed.
