Is It Appropriate to Cite a Governmental Website Showing Numeric Statistics and Not Written in APA 6th Editioin Format?

Good afternoon,

I am wondering if in APA 6th edition, can statistics from a governmental website by paraphrased as a citation and reference?  I may have missed seeing a comment on this.  Please help! :smiley:

For example, is it appropriate to cite the U.S. Census Bureau for world population number given only in numeric format and not in written format.

Yes. You are using statistical information from a source (U.S. Census Bureau), so proper attribution (citation) should be provided regardless of the information format (numeric or text-based).
