It always strikes me as silly that if a reader of one of my documents wants to find the online version of a reference I’ve listed, they have to manually search using the information in my reference list. All my references have a URL associated with them, however it’s too long & ugly to want to include it in the output style, as a URL. Is there a way to make the bibliography entry into a hyperlink, that links to the URL?
Currently this is not a feature of EndNote.
You can remove the EndNote coding of the document and use Word’s hyperlink function to produce the links you want.
See our website for the steps on how to remove the EndNote Field Codes:
If you would like to see this feature in a future version of EndNote, You may want to submit a request for a product enhancement on our website.
