Molecular Biology and Evolution - Adding an author initial into the citation

Hi,

I am using Endnote X4 with Windows Office 2010. I want to cite the journal articles in the following format (in the Bibliography / References cited section).

Pensole G, Gissi C, Lanave C, Saccone C. 1995. Glutamine synthetase gene evolution in bacteria. Mol. Biol. Evol. 12:189-197.

I have tried a lot of different options but I am not able to get the author initial (Only the first letter) to appear in the bibliography section. Kindly help me set this above format.

Sorry, It is impossible with endnote current settings.  Why do you want to do this?
