Hi,
I’m not a fan of the PDF viewer in Endnote. I have my library and every reference has a PDF. How can I quickly open that PDF in a different program like Acrobat or Preview without having to go to the endnote library folders and search through cryptic numbering schemes.
Sorry if there’s a button I have to click and I didn’t see it. I am new to this program.
In either the library display, with the record highlighted or once the record is open – Ctrl+Alt+P in windows in EndnoteX7 (I doubt you mean Endnote7) for Windows. (I believe it then opens it in your default PDF reader, in my case Adobe Acrobat Pro).
