Quick question on creating Groups- do the refs stay in main Library too?

Hi again,

I am trying to create a group in my Endnote library and move references across to it, I have managed to move all reference in my library to my group however the references are still showing in my library- is this how it works? Is the library like a master copy of sorts of the references within each group? I had just assumed moving the refs over would leave my library empty. Have I done something wrong?

that is how it works.  there is an “unfiled” group that should go to 0 but all references views everything whether it is in a group or not.
