Reference Format Incorrect - EndNote Click Extension

Hi users, I am currently new to EndNote and having some issues when pushing reference from EndNote Click to EndNote. As from the image above, when I want to add reference to my EndNote account, the reference format is incorrect, bringing the errors to my EndNote and even when I add reference to my Word Doc. The errors found are:

  1. Author: Md Golam Kibria. et al. (It should be Kibria et al.)
  2. Year: The year was inserted as date (It should be only 2019, not the entire published date)

I would be very appreciate whether anyone has also encountering similar issue and the support service can provide respective solution.

I haven’t experience with Endnote Click, but it appears to be hit or miss on how it imports a record into the database and you may need to manually edit the record. I find it more reliable to go to the publication website, https://advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adma.201807166 in this case, and use the publisher’s " CITE choice to export to file, and import that file into endnote. This is better at identifying the correct info in the correct order rather than relying on the extension parsing it. This worked perfectly for my Endnote21 program
