Revert from Endnote Web back to local use

The group I work with has elected to forego using Endnote Web in favor of keeping our library local. How do I revert back? My Tools menu in Word is set for the Web version and I am unable to find out how to revert to the local version.

Did you check the “Application” setting of EndNote’s Cite While You Write Preferences via the MS Word ribbon? 

  1. Locate the EndNote tab in the MS Word ribbon. Locate the section labeled “Tools” and just above it click to select “Preferences”. This will display the CWYW Preferences dialog box onscreen.

  2. Click the “Application” tab. Now clicck the application’s pull-down menu to change the selection from EndNote Web to: Endnote.

  3. Click the OK box to exit.
