I am an academic librarian. I have a patron who is trying to make a citation edit from his EndNote library to his dissertation on Word. He has done this successfully numerous times. However, today, he tried to do it and it sent him directly to EndNote Web and started requesting emails and passwords that he had never had to give before. Any idea what happened and how he can rectify the problem?
Here is one possible explanation and how to change it:
Go to the EndNote toolbar i Word and click on CWYW Preferences button. Then choose the Application tab. Which application is listed under the “Select the CWYW application”? If EndNote Web is listed, change this to EndNote. When this is done, the buttons should work with EndNote and not EN Web.
