I have (or had) my reference documents in a folder named DocResearch. When I imported into EndNote, it MOVED (as opposed to copied) all documents to an Imported folder. From what I’ve read, that folder is temporary and replaced each time I import. While stuff is duplicated in EndNote Web (or whatever it’s called now), I’m worried that if something happens to my EndNote, I could lose the import folder and thus all my documents on my home computer. Since I am often in places where I have no access to the internet, plus I like to open and annotate files on my iPad in GoodReader (highly recommended for this, by the way), I need to keep the documents in my DocResearch folder. Is there any way to get EndNote to copy files to the import folder, not move them?
