Ok, I’m having a problem here. My publisher wants me to have all short form footnotes throughout my book. In other words, instead of having the full footnote citation in Chicago 15 format for the first citation occuring and then short form for later citations, they want short form from the very first citation. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this. Can someone please explain to me how to go about doing this? Thanks.
I assume you would just copy the short form to the first form of each footnote ref type template. I did that in the attached. Does it work for you?
