Can someone explain what the funciton of the tdb subdirectory within .Data is?

The information found in the .data folder and its subdirectories is how EndNote stores the reference information. If you would like more specifics on each folder, you can refer to the Application Programming Interface (the API).

I asked the Endnote support and it seems that

  • “tdb” contains all information on the references in the trash (I think it is the abbreviation of trash data base)
  • “rdb” contains all information on the other references (I think it is the abbreviation of reference data base)
