The EndNote X6 user interface - a step backwards

The overall user interface changes implemented in EndNote X6 are a real step backwards. The various icons spread across the full length and breath of the EndNote window are primitive and inconsistent. X6 has the look of an unfinished, beta version. Macintosh users are accustomed to a much more polished UI. And most irritating is the lack of any visible or audible feedback when buttons or tool icons are clicked to indicate a successful operation. For example, when clicking of the “add to local library” button there is no feedback to indicate that anything is happening.

Thank you for the feedback on EndNote X6 for the Mac. I took the liberty of moving your forum post to the EndNote > Product Suggestions community.
