Word 2008 for Mac crashes when formating bibliography

Hi,

Word 2008 for Mac crashes when I format the bibliography in my thesis.

I used to have instant formating permanently on, but EndNote was slow processing new notes added. Thus, I’ve turned it off. Now that I want to put it back on to review my thesis, the Word 2008 for Mac crashes.

Any ideas?
