X2 does not insert citations

MacOS 10.5.4 Endnote X2 build 3548

I run Mac Word 2008 and X1 and it inserts citations Ok

I run Mac Word 2008 and X2 and X2 hangs when trying to insert citations

this library is a package

so then I save the library not as package but as two pieces

then X2 enters citations Ok

any insight into X2 having trouble with package libraries?

I’m having the same problem.  I followed your example and created separate libraries, but this is frustrating.

This is a known issue with EndNote X2. We are fairly confident that we have a fix for this in the upcoming EN X2.01 patch - available in the next few weeks.
