Hello, i am using endnote 21 for Harvard Hull formatting. For some reason my accessed date is playing up. On one of my bibliography pages the ref after a web page link just says “Accessed” and then no date. Even though the date is in the endnote library?
Also the accessed date half shows up as part of the journal title.
I have downloaded an output style called Harvard Author Year (Hull). Is that the same one you are using? (there was also a footnot version).
What reference type are you having issues with? and exactly what is the name for the field that that the accessed date is in? – but I do see a problem with the Web Page style that I downloaded. It doesn’t include the field name.
it just ends with the word but no field name. You should edit it to insert the fieldname and a closing square bracket. I would also move the full stop after year to after the | and add a space before “Available”
In fact, I would also replace some of the spaces with “link adjacent” symbols (also inserted from insert field dropdown).
This is my preferred edited version, which I think if the access date is missing from a record, will format it correctly without the word “Accessed” or square brackets. The little circles are "link adjacent, and the lines are “forced separation” and what is inside them only appears if the fields are present.
