I have to modify my citations in a way where the in text citations should be numbers in parenthesis, but in the reference list should be sorted in alphabetical order.
Is there a endnote template which does this so? If not, how can I manualy edit it?
Thanks!

You can try the style called Pain which can be downloaded from our website here:
http://endnote.com/styles/Pain.ens
You can use the following steps to add it to EndNote.
Double-click on the downloaded file to open it in the EndNote software.
Click the File menu in EndNote and select Save As.
Click Save.
Close the style window.
You can now delete the file on the desktop the style has been added to EndNote.
You can use the following steps to switch styles in Word.
