I am having trouble with a specific anonymous author setting in an Output Style.
When using Acta Crystallographica.ens and setting the Annonymous Works to “Use full title in place of author”
the refernce appears with the title first, but omits the Journal Title:
Collaborative study. (2008). 28, 134-135.
When it should be:
Collaborative study. (2008). J. Biol. Chem. 28, 134-135.
In order to do this we have to copy the title to the author field (and add 2 commas at the end).
Setting the Annonymous Works to “Leave author blank” includes the journal title:
(2008). J. Biol. Chem. 28, 134-135.
The Output Style does not list the article title, but using it in place of the author should not remove the journal title. Endnote seems to be treating the article title as if it was a repeat of the journal title in this case.
Has anyone seen this problem before? Is there is a way to corect this rather then changing the author field?
I am using Endnote X2 on a PC.
