APA 6th - Citation including first name

Hi I am working with Endnote X5 applying APA 6th style. I have some citations including the first name and initial of the author. How do I remove this information? Why the style is not consistent?

Initials will be displayed in the case of authors having the same last name in order to identify them as different authors. However, if the initials are being displayed for a single author having multiple works, recheck the Author field to see if any additional spaces or difference in the way the name was entered which may account for the display.

Also, check the author name setting (refer to this thread) concerning adjusting the Citations and Bibliography settings to determine how the name should be displayed.
