articles in smart groups are also in "unfiled" folder

Hi,

New user, endnote X9 on PC.  I’m taking over as the admin and trying to clean up the folders.  I’ve made several smart groups and deleted some of the dumb groups that are redundant.  The smart groups work great, but it seems that all the references that were in the groups I deleted get put into the “unfiled” category, even though they are now in the smart group.  ANy help on this?

You have the option for Unfiled to include or exclude Smart Groups. You can right click on Unfiled and toggle the option.
