author with apostrophe in first name

I have the following author: Meng, Qing’an

My style requires full surname followed by the initial. By default I get Meng Q. a. which is incorrect. I tried putting a double comma (Meng, Qing’an) but Endnote renders this to Meng, Qing’an which is also incorrect. Any ideas how to go about it?

As a workaround if you only need Meng, Q to appear then you can simply enter the author as Meng, Q in the Author field.
