cannote delete references & library recovering not working for one particular endnote library

Hi

Using X5.0.1 bld 5774 on windows 7.

I used endnote a lot.

one endnote library does not allow me to delete references in the main library windown. So I can’t deduplicate.

I tried recovering the library and it did not create a new file (see attached image).

Please do you have any ideas of how to solve / avoid this problem, and why it has occurred?

I’m very sorry to hear you’re having this trouble!

This means that there is damage in the library that is beyond EndNote’s ability to repair. I recommend opening a ticket so that we can attempt the repair process here at our support desk:
