I realise this may sound like a very easy problem but I can’t for the life of me work it out!
Some of my journal articles have random capitalisations or book publishers have mispelled words. I can edit these fine, and update my word document to reflect these changes. However, when I exit EndNote and then restart it, all of the changes I made have reverted back to the incorrect version.
Is this a Sync problem? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

You need to fix it in the library – you cannot edit the document, although you can open the desktop version and edit it there OR you can edit it directly from inside word by going to the edit citation>more… and then select the citation with errors from the list and choose “Edit Library Reference” from the drop down and it will open the record in endnote and you can correct it, it will then update in your word document AND be fixed for ever more.
or you can just go into endnote and repair it directly.
