Comma within author's name

The author of a journal article is an organization whose name includes commas (e.g., ‘American Heart Association Council on Clinical Cardiology Subcommittee on Exercise, Rehabilitation, and Prevention’). How do I enter such a name into the article’s authors list so that it is displayed correctly in the references list of my manuscript? The trouble is that the part after the first comma is interpreted by EndNote as the author’s first name …

My EndNote version is X5.

If your corporate author name includes a comma in the name itself, use two commas in place of the first comma:

California, Irvine

EndNote treats this as a last name followed by a blank first name. Then, everything after the (blank) first name is appended, including a second comma in the name. The formatted result is the corporate name with the commas in place.
